Prior to founding Currow Weeks & Associates, Jim Currow served as EVP Newspapers for the Morris Publishing Group in Augusta, Georgia. In that role, he was responsible for the bottom-line performance of all of the Morris newspapers. He was also responsible for advertising/marketing, circulation, marketing research, and journalism for the company. He helped lead stellar digital advertising growth over his career with Morris.
Prior to Morris, he served as Sr. VP/Chief Marketing Officer for NAA. Prior to joining NAA, Currow owned a consulting company, Currow & deMontmollin Inc. Prior to that, he served as President/Publisher CEO of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel newspaper. Jim spent most of his career with Knight Ridder with stints as VP Advertising, and VP Sales & Marketing at The Miami Herald Publishing Company. Jim has a BS in management and marketing from Charleston Southern University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.
