With over 30 years of experience in the newspaper industry, Everton has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand newspaper challenges and craft the most impactful and innovative revenue solutions.
Prior to cofounding Currow Weeks & Associates with Jim Currow, Everton served as VP Advertising for Morris Publishing Group in Augusta, GA.
Everton is a successful business executive and author who earned his stripes in the trenches. He established himself as a leader while serving as an executive with such notable firms as Procter & Gamble, Harte Hanks-Direct Marketing, Knight-Ridder, Miami Herald and Gannett and Morris Communications. The bulk of his experience occurred in competitive markets where he was constantly challenged to manage for today and innovate towards tomorrow.
Everton’s formal education includes an MBA -University of Miami, BBA – Temple University, and advanced executive training degrees from Northwestern and Knight Ridder.
